WE LOVE PEOPLE!
It’s true! But we can’t take all the credit. We love people because God first loved us, so we’re just giving out of the excess that we have been given. Of course, we’re not perfect people, and maybe you’re not either, so you’ll feel right at home. We want to grow, we want to be better people, and our services are suited to anyone who feels the same.
When you arrive to a Sunday service you’ll be greeted with a smile as you walk in the lobby. Help yourself to a coffee, hot chocolate, or cappuccino (sounds fancy but not really. We have a couple of Keurig’s, so you’re the barista). Next come on in to our Worship Centre and enjoy some great live music! We are not performers, but we are enthusiastic about worshipping God - hopefully you’ll be inspired to sing with us! Following that you’ll hear a challenging message that will inspire you to connect with God, which we’re convinced will make you a better person.
We are in a new season! Pastor Gord has a ton of vision to reach our community. We are excited to grow as we touch the people's lives around us. Below are some of the ways we are (and plan to) connect with our community.
Richfield Children's Ministry
Richfield's Children's ministries serves kids in preschool to the end of grade 6.
A nursery room for younger children is also available with change tables, toys and a live stream of our service so parents can still listen while tending to their little ones. Kids meet every Sunday morning during our service (downstairs) for their own kids lesson, developed specifically to cater to their ages and needs. We keep it fun, energetic and relationally focused.
One of our goals here at Richfield is to create a truly welcoming space for families in all stages of life, where everyone belongs and every child is seen and valued. Along with the help of our amazing volunteers, we are committed to making sure our church is a place where your kids' relationship with Jesus grows and their Spiritual gifts are nurtured.
Richfield Youth Group
My name is Noah Slobodan and I am super excited to be involved with Youth ministry here at Richfield! I recently spent six months serving with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Australia and Taiwan! During this time God transformed me and confirmed a pastoral call on my life. I am passionate about seeing people taking their next step in a personal relationship with Jesus and witnessing God’s plan for their life unfold. Some things I love to do are playing musical instruments, participating in sports, playing board games, and spending time outdoors. Please come join us at Richfield Youth! We have several home groups that meet every second Sunday evening in different homes studying, sharing, praying and growing in our walk with the Lord.
