Richfield Christian Fellowship has been around since the 1940's. You could say we're well established, but we'll save the history lesson for another time and another page. In December of 2018 Gord Ponak came to Richfield to serve as our Lead Pastor. He was previously a Worship Pastor in Fort McMurray for 13 years, but felt God gave him passion and conviction to lead a church - a thriving, dynamic, contemporary church. Our congregation had been envisioning the same thing, and we were glad that he heard the call and came to lead us forward.
Gordon has a desire to help all people feel loved, accepted, and significant. No matter what part of your faith journey you're on, you'll welcomed at Richfield.

I came to Richfield in late 2018 to serve as the Lead Pastor after serving as a Worship Pastor in Fort McMurray for 13 years. I had never aspired to lead a church, but God’s call ramped up to the place it was irresistible and I didn’t just want to, I had to. My amazing wife Lisa leads our worship most Sundays, and we have two great teens - Ashley and Tyler who also volunteer at the church. My personal vision is to lead people to know Jesus, and if I can help you with that in any way please let me know!
YOUTH MINISTRY DIRECTOR

My name is Noah Slobodan and I love being involved with Youth ministry here at Richfield! In 2019, I spent six months serving with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Australia and Taiwan! I currently study at Vanguard college, pursuing a Pastoral degree. I am passionate about seeing people taking their next step in a personal relationship with Jesus and witnessing God’s plan for their lives unfold. I love playing musical instruments, participating in sports, playing board games, and spending time outdoors. Youth nights consist of a time of worship and a message, snack, and a fun activity! If you are between the ages of 12-17, come and check us out!

Hi! I am so honoured to be serving children and families here at Richfield. As parents of 3 kids (Finnegan, Iona, Kellan,) my husband Brandon and I know that "it takes a village" and we are excited about helping to create a loving community where your kids will be safe, valued and nurtured in their faith formation. I graduated from the Children and Family Ministry program at Vangaurd Bible College in 2018 and am currently finishing a Master of Divinity degree at Taylor Seminary. When I am not hanging out with my family, church or writing seminary papers, I love to hike, rock climb and explore the outdoors.
